Enchanting watersplashes

I'm completely seduced by this extraterrestial watercolour beauties. I always thought watercolours are one of the hardest painting techniques to master but an Italian painter Silvia Pelissero takes it to completely different level.

Her delicate, enchanted characters are gazing at us from behind watercolour splashes as almost they were trapped under this transparent waterfalls of paint.

Artist's real name is Silvia Pelissero but she's known through her artist pseudonym Agnes Cecile.
She was born in Rome in 1991, where she finished an art high school, the only art institution that she has ever attended! Since than She has continued as a self-taught artist, creating captivating , intriguing watercolor portraits. Silvia's characteristic white outline finish, delicate, almost invisible bright lines that add depth to her images quickly became her signature style.

Ive selected few pieces that are my personal favourites.  Let me take you to Silvia's world for few minutes. Hope you'll enjoy staying there a bit as much as I did.

Ps. And here is something extra, a cherry on a pie, Silvia's watercolours magically coming to life in her "speed painting" video! Still after watching it so many times I can't believe how easily she makes it look!
